Born in the UK, raised in Hong Kong, Simon Willson has been a part of the Asian dance scene since the early eighties when he span in Tramps Disco Central, which was possibly Hong Kong's first regular "party night" as, every Friday, the tables and chairs were removed from an Indonesian restaurant and it filled up with fellow expat teenagers.

Turning "Pro" in 1983 he became resident DJ in Club 1997 Lan Kwai Fong. Then after touring Taiwan he returned to Hong Kong to take up residency at New World "Faces" during 1984. He was the first "white boy" to spin in Shanghai when it re-opened to the world in 1985!

The late 80's saw a residency at "The Cavern" and 4 weekly late night radio shows on RTHK Radio 3 cut short by a serious motor cycle accident. Physiotherapy was on the dance floor at the Big Apple with Lee Burridge & Christian the attending Physicians!

After a stint as Tour Manager/MC in China for the KixInteractive crew, this fluent Cantonese speaker is back - Servin' 'Em up Hard and Kickin'!

Late 1998 saw his return to radio, when he rejoined the Radio 3 lineup. Every weekend he hosts Cool Trax & The Rhythm on Saturday Night's as well as Sunday Afternoon's between 13:10 - 16:00 on 567AM and 97.9FM .

During 2000 he toured Vietnam with Kixinteractive making a one hour documentary for National TV, as well as some very memorable parties such as Yellow Frogs' Dragon Boat Party, The AIDS Concern Party and numerous Lamma Beach Parties.

The New Millenium has seen him touring Thailand as well breaking new ground playing to over 1200 people in Cebu. During the weekends on Radio 3 Simon hosts The Rhythm Hong Kongs' only dance music show. He can also been seen weaving a happy, uplifting mix of house, hard house, trance, jungle, deep beats , Anthems and a wee bit of techno at Hong Kong's leading and underground parties as well as performing MC tasks at such memorable events as Paul Oakenfold Heineken Thirst Tour Hong Kong
